Qiang Li
Position: Associate Professor (ECE)
Dr. Qiang Li received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Zhejiang University, China, in 2003 and 2006, respectively and the Ph.D. degree from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, in 2011. He is currently an associate professor in Center for Power Electronics Systems at Virginia Tech. His research interests include power management for distributed power systems, applications of WBG power devices, high-frequency power conversion and controls, magnetics and EMI, high-density electronics packaging and integration, and renewable energy.
Dr. Li received the First Place Prize Paper Award for 2016 in the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics. He is also a recipient of the 2017 National Science Foundation (NSF) Career Award.
