Biography
Yi Zhou is an assistant professor of Speech and Hearing Science at the College of Health Solutions and an affiliate faculty of School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering at Arizona State University. Her research focuses on the neural basis of hearing, in particular, the tasks related to sound localization and sound identification in multi-talker environments. Her research integrates animal behavior, cortical neurophysiology, and computational modeling in understanding the perceptual performance of primate systems. She received her doctorate in biomedical engineering from the Boston University and conducted her postdoctoral research at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Johns Hopkins University.
